Terms of Sale
By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
In order to contract with cmp-vgm.com you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. cmp-vgm.com retains the right to refuse any request made by you. If your order is accepted we will inform you by email and we will confirm the identity of the party which you have contracted with. This will usually be cmp-vgm.com or may in some cases be a third party. Where a contract is made with a third party cmp-vgm.com is not acting as either agent or principal and the contract is made between yourself and that third party and will be subject to the terms of sale which they supply you. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of foreign products and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.
(a) Our Contract
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.
(b) Pricing and Availability
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible.
Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Your card will be debited upon authorisation being received. The monies received upon the debiting of your card shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the goods you wish to purchase. Once the goods have been dispatched and you have been sent a confirmation email the monies paid as a deposit shall be used as consideration for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the confirmation email.

Collection of your personal data
CMP collects your personal data when:
when you submit your contact information in relation to our VGM service through the Website,
when you submit your personal data in our contact formula, and/or
when you otherwise are in contact with CMP.
Categories of personal data processed about you
In connection with the above mentioned, we process the following personal data about you:
When visiting the Website
Your IP-address, information about the chosen operating system on your computer, your mobile device, chosen internet browser and your online activities on the Website.
When using the contact formula
Ordinary personal data: Your contact information, including your name, email address, telephone number and industry, etc.
Special categories of personal data ("sensitive personal data"): Generally, CMP does not process sensitive personal data about you, unless you have provided us with such information, e.g. in relation to the contact formula on the Website or in other correspondence with CMP.
The purpose of processing personal data about you
The purposes of processing your personal data is to provide you with the best customer experience when you visit the Website, to be able to answer any inquiry from you to your satisfaction, and to provide you with our VGM service.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data
CMP processes your ordinary personal data about you in order to fulfil an agreement with you or due to special circumstances, to pursue a legitimate interest, except where such interest is regarded to be overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. Legitimate interests for CMP can be when the purpose is improvements of the Website, our services, examinations in relation to your inquiry, etc.
CMP only processes sensitive personal data about you when you have given your explicit consent hereto, e.g. when agreeing to our terms on processing of personal data when using the online contact form.
Recipients of your personal data
Certain recipients process personal data on behalf of CMP. Such data processors may only process your personal data in accordance with the instructions given by CMP; i.e. these data processors are not allowed to process your personal data for their own purposes. To the extent CMP discloses or transfers your personal data to third parties, such disclosure or transfer will only take place if it is in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Hence, this might require your prior consent.
Transfer of your personal data to a third country (outside of EU/EEA)
In certain cases, your personal data may be transferred to a country outside of EU/EEA. In these cases, CMP ensures that such transfers will be carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation. CMP processes your personal data for as long as it is necessary, including while we process your inquiry. Further storage can take place, if it is deemed necessary for purposes of documentation. Information about your online behavior collected through cookies will be stored in a period of 1 year.
The definition of a cookie

Your rights as a data subject
CMP has considered and implemented appropriate technical and organisational technical measures in order to protect your personal data and ensure your rights as a data subject.
As a data subject, you have the right of access to the personal data CMP processes about you. Further, you have the right to rectification, erasure (the "right to be forgotten") or restriction of the personal data CMP processes about you. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
Under specific circumstances you have the right to data portability. Where processing is based on a consent or a contract with you and the processing is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format if technically possible, you have the right to transmit this personal data to a third party without hindrance from CMP.
As a general rule, you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. This does not apply if among other things automated decision-making and profiling is necessary for entering into, or performance of, a contract between you and CMP.
If processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that this does not affect CMP's processing of your personal data prior to the withdrawal of your consent.

- VGM weighing terms
- Our weighing equipment complies with the requirements for measuring equipment in Article 9 (3) of Public Order No. 397/2016, i.e. with a tolerance of +/- 1,000 kg. If a control by a relevant authority proves that the VGM stated undisputedly falls outside the acceptable tolerance or that the certificate suffers from an error which can be ascribed to CMP, we will reimburse the price of the certificate and any costs or losses incurred or suffered by the customer directly due to such error. The liability of CMP is limited to 1,000 SDR and does not include any liability for indirect, special or consequential losses.
